The prom is considered one of the highlights in the life of every teenager. This marks the end of life in high school and the beginning of something new in college.

To mark this occasion, a formal event is set. This will be the first and certainly not the last where the person will dress up and look extravagant for one night which students in campus will be talking about on Monday.

A lot of girls can just pick a dress in the mall. Those who have the money can have one made. The girl has to do more than think about the outfit. Special attention must also be given to the shoes and the hairstyle for the event.

The usual place where people will find hairstyles are in fashion magazines. The problem with these publications is that the topics change monthly or every few months and this is costly just to find the right look.

One good resource for free hairstyles is television. The person get look at hairstyles of celebrities and have the same thing done for the prom. The problem is that these shows appear at different time slots which is difficult at times to view. Another problem could be describing this to the stylist which is also hard to imagine.

This leaves the person no other recourse but to get free hairstyle information from the internet. There are a lot of websites that can be found in the web. All the person has to do is type in a certain keyword such as hairstyles or prom and within a few seconds, a list will come out for the person to search.

Some of the more common search engines for people to look at various hairstyles are google.com, yahoo.com or about.com.

These sites don’t only give the person pictures. There are some that will show the individual how it is done. One website is promhairstyles.net. The page is divided into many categories that cater to those who have long, short or medium hair.

Another website is hairboutique.com. Aside from the conventional hairstyles, these also offer fun and out of this world looks which can truly make the prom both fun and amazing.

Hairstyles.free-beautytips.com is another website worth checking out. This will also give the person some advice on preparing the hair should the individual decide to do this at home.

The person shouldn’t be surprised if certain images found in one site sometimes appear on another. Proms happen once a year and some hairstyles that first came out a few years ago are still the “looks” that people prefer.

In case these are hard to do at home, the person can just print the image and show this to the stylist. These people have surely done this before with other teens so it will not be that difficult to do again for the individual.

In the event there are three or four choices that have been selected and the person doesn't know which to pick in the end, this will be a good idea to ask the advice of friends. These people can give a good perspective as to what will match with the dress.

Free pictures and other information regarding hairstyles are there. The person should just know where to look to be able to find the right look for the prom.

Would You Pay $750 for a Bike with No Brakes? (San Diego Reader)

The bike is brown. It’s light in my hands; I can lift it over my head, which I do, just to try it, and it’s easy. Walking it out of the back door of its home at the Velo Culture bike shop, I expend no effort. The thing is like a feather.
