OCD Dating
from:
When you are trying to know if someone you care about has obsessive-compulsive disorder, it is necessary to think that there may be things that we are not aware of, especially when it comes to your kids. Children do not yet have the ability to express what they feel. Thus, it is important for one’s health that we should seek a professional’s advice, someone who is knowledgeable on obsessive-compulsive disorder.
It is sad though that many people with obsessive-compulsive disorder wait a long time before they seek for professional help. As most professionals say, a thing finally turns to a condition when it is already affecting one’s everyday life.br>
Nowadays, there are many online sites that post tests that can help you check whether you have OCD or not. Traditional medical books and magazines contain information about OCD including these tests as well. The results of these tests, however, like most doctors advice their patients, “Seek a second opinion.” Guesses and assumptions are not healthy and will not do you any good.
Currently, there are no laboratory tests to diagnose OCD. Given that such tests are not yet available, here are some steps to be taken as alternatives for OCD dating.

OCD dating frequently comprises a careful psychiatric examination. A healthcare contributor will conduct an interview with the patients about his or her behavior to identify the symptoms and the degree to which regular activities are affected. In addition, an assessment of the medications being taken by the patient will be carried out as well, considering that some drugs are known to worsen the condition. If the patient presents with symptoms of compulsions or obsessions an OCD dating can be done pretty much easy.
Differential OCD dating is required in order to identify and distinguish OCD from any other psychiatric illnesses.
