Various charities in the state of Massachusetts are giving owners of old cars a chance to help their causes and dispose their more than a decade old vehicle. The network of non-profit organizations around the state enable immediate vehicle pick up. In addition to cars, Massachusetts-based charities also accept trucks, RVs and boats for donation.
Pick up locations in Massachusetts include metro Boston Rockport, Brookline, Everett, Winthrop, Dedham, Medford, Marblehead, Needham, Malden, Salem, Milton, Melrose, Arlington and other nearby locations.
Benefits for car donors in Massachusetts
A tax deduction will be awarded to qualified donors once the donation is finalized by the receiving charity. The car's title is a required document in most donations. Applications for missing titles can be made with the Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Department. The organization can also approve donations even if the document is not furnished.
